Technique applied description

The incense box was made by Mizumezakura-wood. The special part of the wood is that the wood is actually from a column of Japanese temple in Kyoto.

It was made by a Japanese wood turner—Izutani Humi, she has apprenticed with Nakajima Atelier since graduated from Ishikawa Prefectural Institute for Yamanaka Lacquerware.

The amount of clover was not that much and was decorated with a few skills to keep the clover pattern as a simple design in order to maintain the wood grain of Mizume Zakura.
