Technique applied description

The surface was coating with one kind of lacquer technique called ”Tamenuri”, combining amber-color and a little black Urushi. With décor of Seashell, pasting with crumbled eggshell flakes. The inner background was sprinkled with golden powder and Hirame, polished it to be glossy and smooth as a mirror. Representing the style of starfish by multiple lacquer skills, and drawing more detail to show the finesse.
