Technique applied description

The background was sprinkled with Hirame and a sum of silver powder; sprinkling hue of gold rendered the phoenix. Then, coating with ‘syuai urishi’ (amber-color lacquer).

Polishing by ‘togidashi’, which makes the surface as a mirror.

Drawing with the thinner line on the top of it in order to depict detail.
